5 happy years ago Brent and Lauren were invited to go on a kayaking trip with a group of friends. Lauren had just moved back to Michigan from Arizona and Brent was keeping the local Grand Rapids bars in business.Although they graduated high school together, they had different social circles and did not know much about one another. That all changed that day on the river.Lauren, the wonderfully clumsy person she is, flipped her kayak, lost her phone and sufficiently soaked the rest of her belongings. And who was there to rescue this damsel in distress? I think you can probably guess! There sat Brent in his kayak waiting to help her struggle back into hers. To his surprise, she lifted herself right back in without much of his help, and when they locked eyes, that was it.Since that day the two have been nearly inseparable. Traveling, going to music festivals and concerts, intertwining their family and friends, and building a wonderful life together. They have 2 fat cats, Clyde Frog and Steve French. And last year they adopted the sweetest Border Collie named Nova. The 5 of them live in a perfectly chaotic downtown Grand Rapids home and love every minute of it.As Brent and Lauren progress through their lives, they admirably remain steadfast and true to one another. Their love has created lasting friendships, the best of memories, and even some other happy couples!Cheers to Lauren and Brent for FINALLY tying the knot 🥂

Through thick and thin, Mikayla has been by Lauren's side through all of her many phases of teenagedom and adulthood. From high school dances, to music festivals, and now to Lauren's wedding day. Mikayla has been a constant beam of light and support since the two first became friends over a decade ago. Mikayla always reminds Lauren to stay true to herself and keep her head held high. Lauren & Brent are honored to have her by their side as they tie the knot!

Makaylah and Lauren became fast friends at work, and from there developed a lasting bond that has carried them both through the last couple of years. Makaylah's spirit, sense of humor, and kindness has helped shape Lauren into the person she is today. From wine Wednesdays, to planning tailgates, Makaylah is always by Lauren's side ready for whatever Lauren throws at her. Lauren & Brent are so excited to have her stand by their side!
